Dick has kept a low profile since retiring, but I am very pleased he has been in contact with me.
He informs – that he suffered a severe ‘stroke’ in October 2013. Was very poorly, but now picking up – life coming into left leg and hopefully left arm next. Things take a long time. The brain is fully functioning and nothing wrong with his right arm – the drinking hand!! – having a black grouse right now. I am still in re-hab home but visiting our house during the day 3-4 times a week. Will keep you posted on progress.
I am sure we wish Dick continued improvement and I hope to be in contact again when we return to the UK…..
