Today I had the great pleasure of meeting Ex 3rd Eng Jack Bell, who came to visit me here in Whittlesey.
Jack was the 3rd Eng on the London Valour when it floundered off Genoa in 1970.
We spent agood 5 hours (some in Wetherspoons) catching up with many names and memories of the 1970’s.
Jack – now well into his 70’s he well and lives in St Ives (Huntingdonshire).
